3. Nurturing

The warmth of the candle nurtures him in its embrace, causes him to lean

into it and to be bathed in its light. Focusing on his bond with Leonard,

feeling it bubble up inside him, feeling it trickle through his mind and

through his Katra.

Leonard's presence is everywhere within him, though a great deal of distance

separates their physical bodies. He wraps himself into its warmth, feeds

upon it, drinks deeply of it, needing it to parch his thirst for his bond

mate's presence. He allows himself to rejoice in the comfort emanating from

Leonard's soul and take sustenance from it.
