9. Love

It amazes Spock, at times, just how much Leonard does love him. As he

watches the flickering flames grow sporadic, the candle starting to burn

out, he has to swallow hard. For he knows that he may not have Leonard here

with him for much longer.

Spock wonders if he can dare to tell Leonard that he loves him, when all

that he has been taught is to suppress emotions and never admit to them.

Yet, Leonard is everything to him, so can he take the risk of never being

able to tell Leonard what he means to him, before it is too late?
