had been one of those days again. I'd woken up grumpier than I'd reason to
be, and
Spock seemed to know exactly what
to do and say to inflame my mood to boiling
rage.
We'd spent the better part of the day at each other's throats,
but after a night
of soft
music, apologies, and hand-holding, life was once again peaceful.
"You're everything
I want, everything I need in a partner," I realized out loud.
"Of
course, neither one of us is perfect. But all things
being equal, once you hit
'tare' on
the scale, you're perfect *for* me."
