Meterorites rained down on the planet causing the native pygmy population to scatter to their underground burrows. McCoy held his medical case over his head as he grabbed Spock's arm, leading him towards a nearby mountain. They took shelter in a narrow cutout of the rock wall. Research had shown them these meteor showers could happen, but it was still an incredible sight to witness.

McCoy chuckled as he pressed against Spock in the small circle. "Is that a phaser in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"

"I can assure you, doctor, it is not my phaser."
