My gray matter is obsessed with green-filled vein;

This mad infatuation is berserk –

Raised high, his right eyebrow imparts disdain

For CMO of Captain James T. Kirk.

Last night I dreamed of pointed ears (again);

How I pray this lust proves a passing quirk!

I have that blasted Vulcan on the brain.   

His damn cold-blooded logic is the bane

Of my waking hours – all it does is irk.

Romance?  Impossible to entertain,  

A relationship with him would never work.
