I know that I explained the theme a bit on the Submission Guidelines page, but I want to restate it here.

The next issue's theme is "Movie Themes." This is a broad category, so let me give a few examples of what this entails:
1) parodies or spoofs of movies,
2) well known movie tropes,
3) cross-overs,
4) remix and redux of movies,
5) movie quotes as dialogue.

These are not the only way to meet this theme, so feel free to imagine as you will. If you want to have a Guardian of Forever situation but where they end up in classic movies, that would count. If you want to have a situation where they watch holofilms and reenact them, that would count. If you want to have a dream sequence with movie imagery, that would count. The sky is the limit.

Personally, I would like to see one over-the-top action submission, one horror submission, and two classic romance submissions. But that is just me.

For the purposes of this upcoming issue, Star Trek movies don't count, but all other sci-fi movies do.

Here is a place to search for movies: (You can search for key words)

When submitting your story or artwork, please make a reference to the movie title and year (E.g. "Casablanca, 1942).
